In Thursday's non-league match, the host West Salem Panthers basketball team scored a good 62-47 triumph over the Onalaska Hilltoppers.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the McFarland Spartans (McFarland, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 2. West Salem will attempt to better on its 24-6 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 23-5 record after their 63-49 non-league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI).
With the defeat, Onalaska moves to 20-9 on the year.
