In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting East Coweta Indians lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 victory over the Newnan Cougars.

The Indians now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carrollton for a battle on Monday, March 4.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 12. Newnan will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Golden Bears come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA).
