St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 11-2 in a league battle.

The Indians now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Watauga for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Thursday, March 7.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle, on Tuesday, March 5. Patton will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
