East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Rowan upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-0. West Rowan won 10-9 in their recent non-league test against Butler (Matthews, NC)

With the defeat, Lake Norman Charter falls to 0-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Northwest Cabarrus won 12-6 in their recent non-league test against Concord (Concord, NC)
