In Thursday's non-league game, the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA), by a final score of 5-1.
The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Smiths Station edged Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northside for a challenge on Monday, March 4. Harris County will confront a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 league loss to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
