Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting San Marin Mustangs (Novato, CA), 7-5 in a non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. Rancho Cotate will face a Falcons squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 6. San Marin will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 11-3 non-league win over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA).
