Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), 22-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hill Country Christian School of Austin for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. Marion will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Blanco falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lytle (Lytle, TX) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
