Cedar Bluff Tigers (Cedar Bluff, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL), 18-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Jacksonville Christian Academy for a 1A Area 11 challenge on Monday, March 4. Cedar Bluff will battle a Thunder squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL). The Thunder record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Sand Rock falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL) to battle the Volunteers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Volunteers enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Central of Clay County lost 15-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Handley (Roanoke, AL)
