Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilmer for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Jefferson will face a Buckeyes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Ore City falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Beckville (Beckville, TX) to face the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Beckville lost 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
