In Thursday's non-league contest, the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), by a margin of 11-6.
With the triumph, South Columbus moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Stallions travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Monday, March 4. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 2-0. South Brunswick won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC)
In their next game, the Scorpions play the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 5. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
