In Thursday's league contest, the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC), by a margin of 13-3.
With the triumph, Palmetto moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. The Yellow Jackets come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Bobcats play the Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC) in a AAA Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, March 5. Seneca will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Wren (Piedmont, SC).
