The Canby Lancers basketball team (Canby, MN), dropped 98-78 in Thursday's league battle with the host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN)
The Knights now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg for a non-league battle on Friday, February 4. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will battle a Fighting Saints team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over MACCRAY (Clara City, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 8-7.
The Lancers (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Panthers come into the A Section 3 battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton prevailed over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN), 66-51, in a league battle.
