    In Thursday's non-league outing, the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE), by a count of 68-42.

    The Falcons (19-1) will now prepare for their outing against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Johnson-Brock was crushed by Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE), 61-21, in a non-league outing.

    The Clippers now hold a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson County Central for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 5. Malcolm will clash with a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 47-27 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 12-8.
