Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 62-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Cape Fear upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Colts host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a bout on Friday, February 4. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Jack Britt lost 43-41 in their recent league bout against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
Next up, the Bears play the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 4. Gray's Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 64-60 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).
