The Escalon Cougars basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Livingston Wolves to 53 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hughson for a contest on Friday, February 4. Escalon will meet a Huskies team coming off a 62-60 league win over Ripon (Ripon, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 14-6.

The Wolves (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Hilmar was defeated by Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA), 52-22, in a league contest.
