With the win, Abbott upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Panthers host Gholson (Waco, TX) to play the in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout on Monday, February 6. The go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Gholson lost 62-35 in their recent league bout against Oglesby (Oglesby, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Oglesby Tigers (Oglesby, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Aquilla will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 62-35 league win over Gholson (Waco, TX).
