The Abington Galloping Ghosts basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Wissahickon Trojans to 46 in the Galloping Ghosts league victory on Friday.
The Galloping Ghosts now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quakertown for a Suburban One - American contest on Tuesday, February 7. Abington will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-48 league win over Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-13.
The Trojans (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Colonials come into the Suburban One - American contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Plymouth Whitemarsh prevailed over Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 66-39, in a league contest.
