In Friday's league outing, the Hanover-Horton Comets (Horton, MI) basketball squad edged the visiting Addison Panthers (Addison, MI), by a count of 55-51.
The Comets (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against East Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Trojans go into the Cascades outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, East Jackson held off Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI), 59-56, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Napoleon for a Cascades outing on Wednesday, February 8. Addison will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 63-21 league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 14-0.
