The Adrian Matadors basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Pringle-Morse Cougars to 45 in the Matadors league victory on Friday.

The Matadors now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Adrian will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 68-44 league loss to Accelerate Christian (Amarillo, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.

The Cougars (7-18) will now prepare for their contest against Wildorado (Wildorado, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 3 contest with a 21-8 record. In their last contest, Wildorado was defeated by Texline (Texline, TX), 67-33, in a league contest.
