Michigan High School Basketball - Milan knocked off by Airport

The Airport Jets basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Milan Big Reds to 42 in the Jets league triumph on Friday.

The Jets now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary Catholic Central for a Huron contest on Tuesday, February 7. Airport will battle a Falcons/Kestrels team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels record now stands at 5-8.

The Big Reds (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Riverview (Riverview, MI). The Pirates enter the Huron contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Riverview ran past Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI), 49-41, in a league contest.
