Illinois High School Basketball - Alleman ripped by Rock Island

The Rock Island Rocks basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Alleman Pioneers to 35 in the Rocks league triumph on Friday.
The Rocks now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Rock Island will battle a Rockets team coming off a 44-36 league win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 19-4.
The Pioneers (6-20) will now prepare for their contest against Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Silver Streaks enter the Western Big 6 contest with a 8-21 record. In their last contest, Galesburg triumphed over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 66-33, in a league contest.
