In Friday's league outing, the Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) basketball squad beat the host Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL), by a count of 65-53.

The Crusaders (8-19) will now prepare for their outing against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL). The Comanches go into the South Seven outing with a 8-18 record. In their last outing, Cahokia defeated Quest Charter Academy (Peoria, IL), 68-58, in a non-league outing.

The Terriers now hold a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Granite City for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Carbondale will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Alton (Alton, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 14-11.
