In Friday's league outing, the Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) basketball squad beat the visiting Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI), by a count of 62-50.

The Thunderbirds (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI). The Hatchets go into the Great Northern outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Tomahawk was topped by Medford (Medford, WI), 93-30, in a league outing.
