California High School Basketball - Anzar overwhelms Ceiba College Preparatory Academy

February 3, 2023: Watsonville, CA 95076

Spectators at Friday's league test between the Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA) and the host Ceiba College Preparatory Academy Spartans (Watsonville, CA), witnessed Anzar's basketball squad crush Ceiba College Preparatory Academy by a margin of 61-31.

The Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Kirby Prep (Santa Cruz, CA). The Griffins go into the PCAL - Santa Lucia test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Kirby Prep was trounced by Pacific Collegiate (Santa Cruz, CA), 1-0, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Pacific Point for a PCAL - Santa Lucia test on Tuesday, February 7. Ceiba College Preparatory Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 83-44 league loss to Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-5.
