Decatur Lutheran Lions (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL), 73-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Decatur Lutheran upgrades its record to 23-0 on the season. The Lions host Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Lincoln Prairie bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-15. Villa Grove won 80-58 in their recent league bout against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL)

Next up, the Bombers clash with the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Argenta-Oreana will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Purple Riders go into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 53-29 non-league win over Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL).
