The Breckenridge Huskies basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Ashley Bears to 36 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart Academy for a Mid-State contest on Wednesday, February 8. Breckenridge will battle a Irish team coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Irish record now stands at 10-4.

The Bears (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs enter the Mid-State contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Montabella was routed by Watervliet (Watervliet, MI), 70-67, in a non-league contest.
