Baldwin Panthers (Baldwin, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Catholic Central Sabers (Manistee, MI), 71-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Baldwin upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Panthers host Traverse City Christian (Traverse City, MI) to play the Sabres in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Traverse City Christian won 76-61 in their recent non-league bout against Central Lake (Central Lake, MI)

Next up, the Sabers play the Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI) in a West Michigan D bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 74-27 league win over Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI).
