In Friday's league outing, the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) basketball squad overcame the host Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX), by a count of 56-44.
With the victory, Barbers Hill upgrades its record to 25-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Nederland (Nederland, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-16. Nederland lost 45-39 in their recent league challenge against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX)
