Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Barnsdall Panthers (Barnsdall, OK), 50-10 in a league bout.

With the victory, Woodland upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 8-11. Pawhuska won 48-33 in their recent non-league bout against Newkirk (Newkirk, OK)

Next up, the Panthers play the Hominy Bucks (Hominy, OK) in a Northern Oklahoma bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Barnsdall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
