Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA) and the visiting Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), saw Nauset Regional's basketball squad hold off Barnstable by a tally of 49-44.

With the victory, Nauset Regional improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA) to confront the Blue Knights in a Cape & Islands - Atlantic challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Sandwich lost 68-44 in their recent league challenge against Barnstable (Hyannis, MA)

Next up, the Red Hawks confront the Milford Hawks (Milford, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Barnstable will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 44-43 league win over Attleboro (Attleboro, MA).
