Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bartlesville Bruins (Bartlesville, OK), 69-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Bixby upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Spartans host Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK) to play the Sandites in a Frontier bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Sandites go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Charles Page lost 58-52 in their recent league bout against Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK)

Next up, the Bruins play the Charles Page Sandites (Sand Springs, OK) in a Frontier bout, on Monday, February 6. Bartlesville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Sandites go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 72-65 league win over Muskogee (Muskogee, OK).
