Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bartlett upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to play the Thunderbirds in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 12-1. Bettye Davis East Anchorage won 77-64 in their recent league bout against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

Next up, the Wolves play the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Monday, February 6. Eagle River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 82-38 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK).
