The Bartlett Hawks basketball team (Bartlett, IL), was nudged 47-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL)
The Storm now possess a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fenton for a Upstate Eight battle on Tuesday, February 7. South Elgin will confront a Bison team coming off a 57-37 league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Bison record now stands at 20-7.
The Hawks (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 20-7 record. In their last battle, Neuqua Valley edged Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 57-49, in a league battle.
