The Clinton-Massie Falcons (Clarksville, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, OH), 64-60 in Friday's non-league test.

The Falcons (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Newport (Newport, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, Newport got by Harlan County (Harlan, KY), 73-58, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Fayetteville-Perry for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Batavia will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 59-33 league win over Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 16-4.
