North Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Hatteras knocked off by Bear Grass Charter

The Bear Grass Charter Bears basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Cape Hatteras Hurricanes to 37 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a 1A Conference 1 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bear Grass Charter will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 57-48 league win over Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.

The Hurricanes (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Hobgood Charter was defeated by South Creek (Robersonville, NC), 55-42, in a non-league contest.
