Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC) and the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), saw Southside's basketball squad overcome Belton-Honea Path by a tally of 63-47.

With the victory, Southside improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC) to confront the Fury in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Fury come into the challenge with a record of 10-15. Fountain Inn won 46-43 in their recent league challenge against Palmetto (Williamston, SC)

Next up, the Bears confront the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Belton-Honea Path will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 18-7 record after their 66-60 league win over Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
