The Louis E. Dieruff Huskies basketball team (Allentown, PA), was overwhelmed 65-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA)

The Hawks now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nazareth Area for a Lehigh Valley battle on Monday, February 6. Bethlehem Catholic will battle a Blue Eagles team coming off a 71-48 league win over Easton Area (Easton, PA). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 10-10.

The Huskies (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Patriots come into the Lehigh Valley battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Freedom was overwhelmed by Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 54-52, in a league battle.
