Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN) and the visiting Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN), saw Nashwauk-Keewatin's basketball squad wallop Bigfork by a tally of 85-56.
The Spartans (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Floodwood (Floodwood, MN). The Polar Bears go into the A Section 7 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Floodwood was trounced by Carlton (Carlton, MN), 87-58, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Littlefork-Big Falls for a A Section 7 test on Monday, February 6. Bigfork will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 87-54 league loss to Deer River (Deer River, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 7-8.
