In Friday's league outing, the Veritas Classical Academy Lions (Beaumont, TX) basketball squad edged the host Bob Hope Eagles (Port Arthur, TX), by a count of 56-52.
The Lions (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Harmony Science Academy (Beaumont, TX). The Tigers go into the TCAL outing with a 5-12 record. In their last outing, Harmony Science Academy held off Community Christian (Orange, TX), 62-21, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Lighthouse HomeSchool for a TCAL outing on Tuesday, February 7. Bob Hope will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 58-45 league win over Harmony Science Academy (Beaumont, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.
