In Friday's league outing, the Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX), by a margin of 63-31.

The Tigers (23-4) will now prepare for their outing against Howe (Howe, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region II District 11 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Howe was trounced by Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX), 37-34, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 5-23 record. They play next when they host Bells for a 3A Region II District 11 outing on Saturday, February 4. Bonham will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 52-48 league loss to Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 18-6.
