In Friday's league match, the visiting East St. John Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 85-81 triumph over the Bourgeois Braves.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 6. East St. John will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record. The Pelicans enter the match with a 22-2 record after their 59-36 league win over Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA).
