In Friday's league outing, the Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA) basketball squad beat the visiting Fairhaven Blue Devils (Fairhaven, MA), by a margin of 69-53.
The Canalmen (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA). The Bears go into the South Coast outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Greater New Bedford RVT was topped by Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA), 48-42, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Somerset Berkley Regional for a South Coast outing on Monday, February 6. Fairhaven will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 67-54 league win over Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-6.
