Texas High School Basketball - Farwell crushes Boys Ranch

February 3, 2023: Farwell, TX 79325

Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX), 70-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Farwell upgrades its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Steers travel to Vega (Vega, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 2A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 15-10. Vega won 52-49 in their recent league bout against Bovina (Bovina, TX)

Next up, the Roughriders play the Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Boys Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record.
