Montana High School Basketball - Melstone knocked off by Broadview/Lavina

The Broadview/Lavina Pirates basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Melstone Broncs to 42 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reed Point/Rapelje for a C District 5 contest on Friday, February 10. Broadview/Lavina will meet a Renegades team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Absarokee (Absarokee, MT). The Renegades record now stands at 2-14.
The Broncs (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Powder River County (Broadus, MT). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Powder River County ran past Garfield County (Jordan, MT), 48-46, in a league contest.
