The Byron Nelson Bobcat basketball team (Trophy Club, TX), was nudged 60-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX)

The Dragons now possess a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to V.R. Eaton for a 6A Region I District 4 battle on Saturday, February 4. Southlake Carroll will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-56 league loss to Haltom (Haltom City, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-14.

The Bobcat (23-6) will now prepare for their battle against Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Chargers come into the 6A Region I District 4 battle with a 20-8 record. In their last outing, Keller Central held off Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX), 78-46, in a league outing.
