In Friday's league outing, the Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), by a margin of 86-49.
The Cougars (21-3) will now prepare for their outing against Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 22-2 record. In their last outing, Macon County smashed Central (Talbotton, GA), 94-73, in a league outing.
The Royal Knights now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they host Baker County for a non-league outing on Monday, February 6. Stewart County will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 57-44 non-league loss to Highland Christian Academy (Valdosta, GA). The Bears record now stands at 0-10.
