The Judah Christian Tribe (Champaign, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL), 48-47 in Friday's league test.

The Tribe (9-12) will now prepare for their test against DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL). The Eagles go into the East Central Illinois test with a 1-22 record. In their last test, DeLand-Weldon was tipped by Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL), 62-15, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Cornerstone Christian for a East Central Illinois test on Tuesday, February 7. Calvary Christian Academy will encounter a Cyclones squad coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Midland (Varna, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 22-5.
