Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Eaton Eagles (Eaton, OH), 63-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carlisle upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-14. Twin Valley South lost 62-57 in their recent league bout against Bradford (Bradford, OH)

Next up, the Eagles play the Brookville Blue Devils (Brookville, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - West bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Eaton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 58-57 non-league loss to Milton-Union (West Milton, OH).
