The Carlyle Indians basketball team (Carlyle, IL), was overwhelmed 63-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL)
The Warriors now possess a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Athens for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Wesclin will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 66-25 league win over Dupo (Dupo, IL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 12-12.
The Indians (8-19) will now prepare for their battle against Red Bud (Red Bud, IL). The Musketeers come into the Cahokia - Illinois battle with a 20-8 record. In their last battle, Red Bud trounced Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL), 52-39, in a non-league battle.
