The Floyd County Buffaloes basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers to 68 in the Buffaloes league victory on Friday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick County for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Floyd County will battle a Cougars team coming off a 77-54 league loss to George Washington (Danville, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-11.

The Cavaliers (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Blacksburg was defeated by Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 83-34, in a league contest.
